This is my own special dedication page for Staind. In some way, it must be possible to explain to someone how much they've made a difference in your life. Here is my attempt at doing that. This is something I wrote and gave to each member of Staind when I met them on July 9, 2005. This poem really means alot to me because it is the closest I can come to saying what I want to say to Staind for all the times they were there for me when I needed someone. And I guess it is kind of my payback to them for writing the beautiful 'fan dedication' song, "Reply" which is found on their new cd, Chapter V. Thank you Aaron, Mike, Jon, and Johnny for all that you have given me through your music.

How can I stand here today
and say what I want to say
about the pain and strife that was in my life
before you took it away?
How could actions or words show
how depression had a hold of me and wouldn't let go
how, inside, no matter what I would do, it just grew and grew
until your music graced my soul?
How can I make you understand
that, with your words, you took my hand
and said, "It's okay to cry, but don't wish to die
because, for you, there is a higher plan"?
How can I ever thank you
for being with me through all I went through
'your words you gave, my life you saved'
Hey, Aaron, you sang those words, and that's exactly how I feel too.
